The most recent issue dealt with by the CISU Committee for Luminous Phenomena in the Atmosphere through collaboration with Italian Committee for Project Hessdalen (ICPH) is related to Project Hessdalen.
Since the 1980s some researchers (initially only ufologists) have been showing their interest in the Hessdalen Phenomena (HP), by writing reports, articles and studies which finally led to a wide enough collection of sources that now builds a very bibliography on those phenomena and that project.
We have been gathering a large variety of sources: general media sources (newspapers, magazines and popular press), ufological or occult-oriented bulletins and journals, but also popular science magazines, up to properly peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Studies on the Hessdalen Phenomena were started in the very last part of the 20
th century. Consequently, a large number of sources are in digital form and were posted on the Internet (with pros and cons).Project Hessdalen have been generating a fair quantity of essays by scientists and researchers (mostly physicists and electronic engineers). Thanks to the involvement and contribution by Italian Committee for Project Hessdalen in the last few years, many of these researchers are Italians.
This bibliography is of course a work in progress. Even if we paid a lot of attention when collecting sources, there will surely remain some mistakes and unwanted omissions, which we hope to correct.
